Crazy Reality
Terms of Use
1. Private and invitation-only use
Crazy Reality is a privately developed, non-commercial automated trading application operated by Craig Joe Lehr (the “Operator”). Access is limited to the Operator and a small group of invited adult family members. The application is not offered for public enrollment, does not accept public investment funds, and is not a public investment product or brokerage service.
2. Separately owned brokerage accounts
Every participant must maintain a separately titled brokerage account in that participant’s own name. The participant remains the owner of all cash and securities in the account. Crazy Reality does not pool, custody, receive, or commingle participant assets.
Participants retain responsibility and authority for account opening, identity verification, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, beneficiary designations, tax elections, account administration, and communications with the brokerage firm.
3. Brokerage authorization
Crazy Reality may connect to a brokerage account only through access that the brokerage firm permits and the account owner knowingly authorizes. Where OAuth or a similar authorization method is available, the participant authorizes the connection directly with the brokerage firm. Crazy Reality does not request the participant’s brokerage password or require the participant to disclose personal brokerage API credentials.
A participant may revoke authorization through the brokerage firm or ask the Operator to discontinue the connection. Revocation may prevent Crazy Reality from monitoring positions or submitting orders, and open positions may remain in the participant’s brokerage account after access ends.
4. Automated trading
By authorizing Crazy Reality, a participant understands that the application may select securities and submit, monitor, cancel, or reconcile stock orders automatically under predefined strategies without obtaining separate approval before every order. Broker acceptance, rejection, routing, partial fills, final fills, and execution prices remain controlled by the brokerage firm and applicable markets.
5. Investment and technology risks
Investing involves substantial risk, including loss of principal. Past or simulated results do not guarantee future performance. Automated trading can experience losses or unexpected outcomes because of market movements, volatility, liquidity, price gaps, corporate actions, unavailable data, programming defects, connectivity failures, brokerage outages, rejected orders, delayed orders, partial fills, or other events.
No strategy, return, execution price, order completion, data accuracy, or uninterrupted system availability is guaranteed. Each participant is responsible for deciding whether participation and the risks of an authorized strategy are appropriate for that participant.
6. No compensation
Under the application’s present private-family arrangement, the Operator does not charge participants an advisory, management, performance, subscription, referral, or other fee for using Crazy Reality. Any future public or compensated offering would require a separate legal, regulatory, brokerage, and platform review before being made available.
7. Brokerage terms control
Brokerage services are provided solely by the participant’s brokerage firm, not by Crazy Reality. The brokerage firm’s customer agreement, disclosures, trading permissions, account restrictions, and policies govern the brokerage account. If these Terms conflict with a brokerage requirement, the brokerage requirement controls the brokerage relationship and Crazy Reality may suspend or terminate the affected connection.
8. Participant responsibilities
Participants agree to:
- Provide accurate information to their brokerage firm and keep it current.
- Protect their own login credentials and use multi-factor authentication when offered.
- Review brokerage statements, confirmations, positions, and tax documents.
- Promptly report an unauthorized connection, unexpected order, or account discrepancy.
- Comply with account restrictions and applicable laws, including IRA requirements when applicable.
9. Availability, suspension, and termination
Crazy Reality may be modified, paused, suspended, or discontinued at any time for testing, maintenance, security, risk control, brokerage requirements, or operational reasons. The Operator may terminate access if continued operation would be unsafe, unauthorized, impractical, or inconsistent with a brokerage firm’s requirements.
10. Intellectual property
Crazy Reality’s software, strategies, interfaces, documentation, databases, and related materials remain the property of the Operator unless otherwise stated. Invitation to use the application does not transfer ownership or authorize copying, resale, publication, or distribution.
11. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Crazy Reality and the Operator are not responsible for losses caused by market activity, brokerage acts or omissions, external data, telecommunications failures, participant actions, or events outside the Operator’s reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes a responsibility that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
12. Privacy and changes
Use of Crazy Reality is also subject to the Privacy Policy. These Terms may be updated when the application, brokerage integrations, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
13. Contact
Questions, authorization-revocation requests, and account-connection concerns should be directed to Craig Joe Lehr using the direct contact method provided with the participant’s invitation.
